C to the Power of Three, LLC was founded by Carmen Sears-Edwards and Ciera M. Sears, MD, MBA out of the love shared between an aunt and her niece to people living with severe and chronic illnesses. Carmen was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, two autoimmune diseases that sparked her passion for encouraging herself and those around her to live life fervently and in the abundance that God has for us. Unfortunately, she began experiencing extreme shedding of her hair as a side effect of her conditions and medications. Dr. Sears has been making hair products for over a decade since starting her own natural hair journey while in medical school, and when Carmen shared her frustrations with her niece, she recommended supplements and hair and skin products to help reduce hair loss. Carmen's hair miraculously recovered, and the idea to provide natural products that can especially help people suffering hair loss and skin changes from chronic medical conditions was born.
